Fr. Ben and Fr. Matt will soon be consecrating Eucharist elements (bread only) to distribute to anyone who wants them, for use during our Sunday morning worship gatherings in August.
If you’ve previously signed up to receive Eucharist elements, someone will reach out to you to coordinate drop-off.
If you haven’t signed up to receive Eucharist elements before, use the form below to sign up no later than Wednesday July 29 at 7pm. Someone will reach out to coordinate drop-off.
Here’s how it will work:
- Eucharist elements will be consecrated on Wednesday evening July 29 and placed in zip-loc bags (using a face mask, with just-washed hands that will touch only the elements and the bags).
- Someone will deliver the elements to your home on Thursday July 30 or Friday July 31. You can sanitize the bag if you like, and set it aside in a special place until Sunday morning (IMPORTANT: since the elements have been consecrated, they’ve been set aside specifically for use in Holy Communion, and should be handled with reverence and care).
- On Sunday, before worship starts, you’ll carefully remove elements for one week from the bag and place them on a small plate in a central place.
- During Holy Communion, everyone with pre-consecrated elements will partake together during the “Ministration of the Elements” part of the liturgy. Others can say the prayer for Spiritual Communion.
If you’d like to receive pre-consecrated elements, fill out the form below by July 29, and the elements will be delivered on July 30 or 31.
