| Greetings, Church! I wanted to share a brief update with you on our 2026 Stewardship Campaign. (In case you missed it, from now until November 2nd, if you consider The Table your church home, we are asking you to pray about making a pledge to give to The Table this coming year. You can read more about it here.) Stewardship of our resources is a vital aspect of our discipleship to Jesus and our life together as a community. Despite the craziness of the past several years, The Table has been able to thrive as a church largely because of the generosity and faithfulness of those who choose to share themselves and their resources for the common good of our life in Christ. Our Vestry has created a draft of our 2026 budget, and our goal is to raise $277,000 in pledges for 2026. This is a ~12% increase from our 2025 goal (and doesn’t include grants and other sources of income). The increase has to do with taking greater stewardship of our new church building (with continued assistance from the diocese), as well as the needs of a growing community. We’re looking forward to finding ways for the building to be a blessing and asset for the surrounding community, both spiritually and practically. We began this year’s Stewardship Campaign last Sunday (October 5), and so far we’ve received 10 pledges for a total of $61,290, which is 22% of our goal. Please be in prayer about your commitment for 2026, and if you’re ready to pledge, use the button below to do so. |
| Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Oh, and check out the Giving FAQ page for a bit about how we think about these things at The Table. Thank you for sharing in the life and mission of our community! As I shared this past Sunday, when we share ourselves and our resources for the good of our common life together, it’s a concrete act of resistance to Mammon, and a material participation in God’s abundant economy of gift and grace. What an incredible gift to have this life together in Christ! Grace and peace, Fr. Ben P.S. Don’t forget to make your pledge by November 2nd (All Saints’ Sunday). It helps us plan realistically for the coming year. 🙂 |
