At our Annual Congregational Meeting this past February, we mentioned that the Diocese of Indianapolis has offered support and partnership for The Table to move into the church property formerly occupied by St. Alban’s Episcopal Church at 4601 Emerson Ave, and we’ve been discussing and discerning it for the past few months.
At a meeting on Sunday May 5 during coffee and donuts, we shared where we were at in this process and held a Q&A session about this potential move into a permanent home for our church. We also shared some photos of the property, which you can view below:
While we continue to work on making sure we can make this move in a faithful and responsible way, the Vestry is feeling positively inclined toward making this move, and will likely look to make a decision this month (as the Diocese needs to give 90 days’ notice to the current tenants of the building).
