The Table is a new church community in the Indianapolis area that envisions a multiplying movement of Jesus communities networked together under a common mission to encounter, embody, and extend the presence of Christ in neighborhoods and networks all over Indy.
We gather publicly in 2 main ways: Sunday Worship and Table Groups.
Sunday Worship: Word & Table (11:15am)

A quick word on how we worship…
Anglican worship is centered on an encounter with Jesus.
We worship in the same basic pattern that most Christians have worshiped through the centuries. We sing God’s praises, we hear God’s Word and we respond through prayers and confession. We offer ourselves to God as we celebrate Holy Communion and we are sent out with a blessing to do God’s work.
Anglican worship is ancient and modern.
The new (modern instruments, new songs, projection screens, HVAC systems 😉 and the old (chalices, candles, ancient prayers, historic creeds) work together to create a worship experience that is consistent with our past and fitting for our future.
We gather for worship Sundays at 11:15am at 3535 Kessler Blvd E Dr in Indy (Spirit of Joy Church)
It’s Ordinary Time, and we’re in the middle of a series called Living a Sacramental Life (to Combat the Secular Heresy), proclaiming good news about the way the world truly is. We’ll be in this series until October 13, 2019.
Everyone is welcome. You don’t need to wear anything fancy or know anything special.
Don’t expect a big concert or special effects. It’s a pretty simple service, and it does have an intentional structure to it (hearing God speak to us, and responding as a community), but you’ll have a booklet and friends around you to help you navigate the movements.
About kids: bring ’em if you got ’em! We like kids and have a LOT of them already. Everyone is together at the beginning of the service, then during the middle part of the service, kids (K-5th) have their own time of hearing and responding to God’s word. They rejoin the adults for the last part of the service: communion, or Holy Eucharist. We also have a nursery.
Here are some photos of our worship gathering over the past few months:
Table Groups are about taking the encounter of Sunday and embodying the presence of Christ around our dining rooms tables in neighborhoods and relational networks.
Table Groups meet on various evenings during the week. If you’re interested in joining us for one, join us for worship on a Sunday and ask about Table Groups, or fill out the form below and we can get you connected.
This is a lot of what we do at Table Groups:
If you’re intrigued by this and resonate with the vision, visit us on a Sunday! Or fill out the form below to start a conversation about how to get connected. Which could include sitting down for coffee. We like coffee. And sitting down.
