Our Annual Congregational Meeting is Sunday, February 1st at 12pm in the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend. One of the important tasks we’ll be doing as a church that morning is voting on a slate of new nominees to join our Vestry.
The Vestry is a council of church members who make up the legal representative of the church. The basic responsibilities of the Vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, (when necessary) to select the Rector/Vicar, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances. All members in good standing are eligible to serve on the Vestry, as well as vote at the Annual meeting.
Each fall, the congregation is invited to nominate new Vestry members, and a slate of nominees is selected each year by a committee comprised of 5-7 members, including a Co-Vicar and two Vestry members. The committee selected three nominees to replace the two Vestry members finishing their terms (Donna Romack and Ken Racke) in order to increase our Vestry to seven (7) people for 2026. (We plan to do this for two more years, bringing our Vestry to nine (9) people in 2028.)
The final step in this process will be for members to vote on the slate of nominees at our Annual Meeting (the vote is Yes/No on the slate as a whole). To ensure a transparent and trustworthy process, our bylaws make a provision for additional nominations to be fielded from the floor at the congregational meeting. (In the rare occasion that a nomination is fielded from the floor, please ensure you have the nominee’s consent first.)
Here is the slate nominated by the committee to serve a 3-year term on the Vestry:

Jamie Dunn
Jamie has attended The Table since April 2021. She is a ninth-generation Hoosier and a lifelong Indianapolis resident. She enjoys reading, cooking, and making inordinately detailed spreadsheets.
Jamie is a librarian at the Indiana State Library, where she has been the Genealogy Division supervisor since 2018. She is also a public historian who focuses on Indiana cultural history. Since 2024, Jamie has served as the librarian at The Table. She appreciates the community fostered at The Table and is excited to bring her organizational skills and financial management experience to the Vestry.

Radonna Fiorini
Radonna Fiorini and her husband Phillip began attending The Table in 2023 after the pandemic and difficult family circumstances led them to rethink the evangelical tradition they were part of for nearly 30 years. The Fiorinis live in Lafayette but enjoy making the drive part of their sabbath. Radonna has found a truly loving community at The Table and is eager to encourage deeper connections and lean into Galations 6:2: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” As a journalist and freelance writer, she has met and interviewed many interesting and accomplished people, and learned along the way that each of us deserves to be treated with equal respect and care. She hopes to offer practical help on the Vestry while bringing people together to meet the needs of those God brings our way.
Radonna loves to garden, travel, and be in nature. She and Phillip have two adult children who live in Indianapolis. After wanting to play drums for more than 50 years, she began taking lessons recently and is now capable of annoying the neighbors in new and profound ways.
Ken Racke
(Serving a second 3-year term as treasurer)
Ken and his wife, Sharon, began attending The Table in 2020. They were attracted by the liturgical worship, connectivity with a solid denomination, and the creative resilience of the body in cultivating life through the Covid pandemic (including Zoom church and church-on-the-lawn).
Ken found his DNA group experience encouraging and has valued being part of the Northside Table Group. He joined the Vestry in 2023 and has served as Treasurer since that time. Ken grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and, in 1992, moved to the Indy area, where he worked at a local agribusiness as an environmental scientist until retiring several years ago. He and his wife Sharon, have three adult children and four grandchildren. Ken appreciates God’s faithfulness in all seasons of life and in the diverse pathways and groups in which he has participated in God’s life over the years.
If you have any question about this process please reach out to one of our Co-Vicars or Vestry members prior to the Annual Meeting, and thank you for all your engagement throughout this process. See you at our Annual Congregational Meeting Feb 1 at 12pm for a fun morning of doing the “business” of the church!
