Our Lenten focus this year is on practicing racial justice, and we kick it off with a 2-hour online workshop (via Zoom) on Re-imagining Life Together Beyond Whiteness on Saturday February 20 from 10:30am-12:30pm EST.
The truth is that Christianity and the invention of “whiteness” have an uncomfortably cozy relationship in history. How do we overcome the stubborn ways that “whiteness” has infected our faith? The challenge is ultimately about the stories we live by. We need a better story, and the good news is that we actually have one in the Christian story.
Join us for this 2-hour online workshop (via Zoom) taught by Michael Gonzalez, a leader at The Table Philly and a good friend of Fr. Matt and Fr. Ben.
