What a wonderful week we had discussing the future of leadership at The Table. Last Wednesday we had a video call with Canon Kimberley Pfeiler from our diocesan office. She spoke briefly about Anglican polity and answered our questions pertaining to the formation of a vestry. Many of you joined us for that, but if you missed it you can watch the recording.
Then Sunday we had a Leadership Cookout at the Sternke house where we discussed our vision and experiences of leadership, shared a few questions/opportunities before us that we need to discern as a church, and gave space to hear stories and reflections from those who attended.

We don’t have a recording of that meeting, but you can read much of how we think about leadership at the Table in these articles from our site:
- Audio recording: Class session on Leadership from the Table 101 last year
- Article online: Why (and How) We Practice Mutual Submission
- Article online: Center-Out Leadership: A New Framework For the Church
Please pray with us as we move towards selecting a vestry and empowering leaders among us (and watch for more info coming soon on how this will all work).
And please continue to share your stories and questions with us! We enjoy getting to know you better, your heart and your hopes for what the Church can be in the world.
So grateful to be on this journey with you,
Fr. Matt
