Join us on Sunday mornings at 9am starting February 1st for a 3-week class on The Book of Common Prayer, led by Kate Bacon and Fr. Ben.
The Book of Common Prayer is a distinctly Anglican tool for both corporate and personal worship. In addition to discussing the historical and theological significance of the BCP, this class will provide practical ways to use the BCP in everyday life.
The BCP is the foundation of our corporate worship, containing both the form of the liturgy used on Sunday mornings as well as the daily office. However, when using the book for personal prayer, it is common to feel lost by the complex forms and language of the BCP.
This class aims to equip folks with resources to practically engage with the BCP in ways that are life-giving in both corporate and personal prayer. If you have ever felt daunted by the content contained in or page-flipping required by the BCP, this class is for you!
